Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to build my website?

We aim to turn most basic projects around in just a few weeks, that includes the design work, content and build of the website as well as snagging however this also depends on you. If we send things over to you for feedback, the timeline is paused until we recieve that feedback. ie; if we say it will take us three weeks but it takes a week for you to send us feedback then really it's going to take four weeks. When we put a proposal together for you we will outline our expected timeline for that specific project and the workload associated with it.

Can you assist with domain registration and hosting?

Absolutely, we offer our own hosting and domain management services which are perfect of most of our clients. Some people like to take care of these things themeselves and we can support that as well.

Will I be able to update the website content myself?

In most cases people are usually able lookafter parts of their site themselves. Whilst you will always have the option of doing things yourself we will discuss with you wether or not you should. A variety of factors come into play here such as the complexity of the backend requirements, your individual skill level as well as your understanding of varius guidelines. Basically, yes you can but if it's likely that you'll do more harm than good in the process we will either advise more training or advise you not to proceed, but ultimatey it's your choice.

How much does a website cost?

That depends on what you want/need. usually the first thing people ask is how much something will cost but until we have a chat about what you actually need it's hard to say. We estimate our costs based on the required labour to achive certain outcomes.

Do you provide maintenance and updates?

We provide basic security upgrades to all of the sites we host for our clients. We are always able to offer further updates and content management on a pay-as-you-go basis where you simply drop us an email or a call and we'll take care of your requests for you. We also offer maintainance and management plans for set monthly fees which we calcualte based on the requirements of the specific client.

What platforms or CMS do you work with?

We work with almost everything. We work on full-stack custom projects, WordPress, Squarespace, WIX, Webflow, Shopify, BigCartel, Prestashop and more. We can accomodate most requests and for new-build project we will discuss your requirements with you and reccomend the best platform for those reqirements. WordPress is our preferred though.

Will my website be search engine optimized?

Yes! When we publish your website all applicable content will have he correct meta information to support SEO efforts. The site will be optimised to pass various tests and we will submit the sitemap to Google and Bing for indexing. However, SEO is an ongoing task, what ranks well today may not rank well in a few months time so we encourage everyone to take a look at our ongoing SEO services.
